Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and ex-Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger are the ones who have been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame.
These managers have changed the dynamic of the Premier League and made it the biggest league in Europe.
Sir Alex Ferguson has had a marvelous journey as the Manchester United boss and won 13 PL titles.
On the other hand, Arsene Wenger won three league titles during his 22-year spell in charge of the Gunners.
In the 2003-04 season, Wenger’s side was “Invincibles”, as they had an unbeaten league-winning season and were marked as historical.
Sir Alex And Wenger Join The Premier League Hall of Fame Inductees
The Hall of Fame was launched back in 2021. In the first edition, players like David Beckham, Dennis Bergkamp, Eric Cantona, Thierry Henry, Roy Keane, Frank Lampard, Steven Gerrard, and Alan Shearer were the inaugural inductees.
Last year, Sergio Aguero, Didier Drogba, Vincent Kompany, Wayne Rooney, Peter Schmeichel, Paul Scholes, Patrick Vieira, and Ian Wright were added.
Sir Alex Ferguson, who managed Manchester United from 1986 until 2013, won three league titles in a row on two separate occasions.
He has built one of the strongest sides and produced several great players in his tenure.
On this precious occasion, Sir Alex expressed his great gratitude towards the organization for honoring him with such great respect.
“It’s an honor when you receive recognition like this,” he said. “However, it’s not just about me as a person.
“It’s about the job at Manchester United and the bond we had over many years, so I’m also proud of the club, the staff, and my players.
“My job was to send the fans home happy. United’s history and my expectations were the things that drove me.”
Gunnar’s In-Charge Arsene Wenger
Arsene Wenger had a rocky career as the manager of Arsenal because he had seen success but failure stood with him for a long time.
He managed Arsenal from 1996 to 2018, where he was the longest-serving and most successful in the club’s history.
Despite not winning the PL title in his last few years, he has managed to bring in some new players and exhibited their class.
No one can forget Van Persie’s prime or Alexis Sanchez’s chemistry with Ozil. Wenger and his warriors have given classic moments to their fans.
Arsene Wenger also shared his happiness and joy over managing such a great club.
“I’d like to be known as someone who loved Arsenal, who respected the values of the club and left it in a position where it can grow and become even bigger,” Wenger said.
“To share this with Sir Alex is a great honor for me. It’s like two boxers, you fight like mad and go the distance together.
“At the end of the day, you have respect and it will be a great opportunity to meet with him, share a good bottle of wine and memories of our old battles.”
