The clash of English and American cultures goes on, but The Buccaneers are no longer the conquerors.
In Apple TV+’s royal drama The Buccaneers Season 2, a group of sassy young American girls who “exploded into the tightly corseted London of the 1870s, setting hearts racing and kicking off an Anglo-American culture clash” in Season 1 now live in England and pretty much run the place.
We got a taste of England the last time. Apple TV+ says that the next season will be a real feast, with songs by Chappell Roan, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, and The Last Dinner Party, among others, and stories about sisterhood, romance, wit, steamy love affairs, expensive gowns, beautiful landscapes, and shocking plot twists.
