The most popular of Love Island USA season 7 so far is now the most popular season of any Peacock original show in the history of the streaming service.
NBCUniversal data shows that over the course of its six-week run, Love Island USA season 7 of the show got 18.4 billion minutes of watch time, which is about 306.67 million hours. These numbers include viewing on all devices, such as TVs, phones, and other mobile devices. They might not match up with Nielsen’s streaming ratings, which only count watching on TVs.
Having said that, has also done very well according to Nielsen. The show got 5.11 billion minutes (more than 85 million hours) of TV viewing from June 2–29, which is the most current date that can be used. It grew every week during that time. Peacock says that the last week of Love Island USAseason 7, July 7–13, was the best week for streaming shows in the Nielsen rankings. However, exact numbers won’t be available for a couple more weeks.
According to Peacock’s own data, about 30% of the 18.4 billion minutes (or about 5.5 billion) for the season were watched on mobile devices. This may show that the public is mostly young. Nielsen says that more than half of the people who watched Love Island were adults under 35.
Fans who were new to the show also helped Love Island USAseason 7 popularity. Peacock says that almost half of the viewers (49%) for Love Island USA season 7 were new watchers. A lot of people saw and talked about the show on social media sites. Just on TikTok, the official accounts and the phrase #LoveIslandUSA got 1.7 billion video views and impressions. Other sites like Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and X added another 2.2 billion impressions.
Peacock said that Beyond the Villa had the biggest premiere viewing of any unscripted show on the platform, but exact numbers weren’t available at the time of publication. The popularity of Love Island also helped the show’s spinoff, Beyond the Villa.
Love Island USA Season 7: Which Couples Stayed Together?
Taylor Williams with Clarke Carraway:
Clarke’s Instagram is full of cute pictures and videos of herself and Taylor, even though they met in the middle of the Casa Amor season and were kicked out before the Finale. This means they’re still together and doing great.
In an interview with TODAY.com on July 11, Taylor confirmed that they were dating.
“We’re still the same as we were in the villa,” he said. “That’s why I said exclusive instead of closed off. “Closed off” is a house word. You’re not telling people outside that “We’re closed off.”
Ace Green with Chelley Bissainth:
Unfortunately, viewers dumped Ace and Chelley and eliminated them from the competition right before the finale. However, they have stayed committed to each other since shooting stopped.
Ace’s Instagram post from July 17 says it all. Clearly, the Islander doesn’t feel bad about what happened and is looking ahead.
People may have had a different idea of who I am in real life than they did after seeing me on TV. I did win, though, and that’s what I remember,” Ace wrote. “I left with the most beautiful girl in the world, and she means the world to me.” It was so much fun that I would do it all over again if I had to.
Iris Kendal with Pepe Garcia-Gonzalez:
Iris and Pepe are also dealing with their relationship in real life. Pepe is stunned by how “unbelievably amazing” Iris has become.
“Trust me, when I talk to someone seriously, I only want to talk to that person. “[Iris] is a stunningly beautiful woman, so it would be silly of me not to try to see this through to the end and see what can happen with us.”
Chris Seeley with Huda Mustafa:
In a first for Love Island, Chris and Huda broke up on their last date in the season finale, before the results of the finale were shown. It doesn’t look like they are even thinking about getting back together any time soon.
She told Us Weekly, “There were so many things going on between me and him off camera that weren’t shown.” “I needed something more important.” “I’m too needy for some people, but I’ll be perfect for others.”
Nic Vansteenberghe with Olandria Carthen:
They are both excited to see how their relationship grows in real life, just like Amaya and Bryan.
“Our relationship is something that [Olandria and I] haven’t labeled yet,” Nic said to us. We’re just taking our time, putting our money into the real world, and having fun with each other.
Of course, Olandria said that watching old clips from Season 7 made her love for Nic even stronger.
“Every edit is so important to Nic and me,” she admitted. “We were just lying in bed before now looking at all the changes on TikTok.” They really move me, and some of them make me cry. It’s like, “Damn, I had no idea about that.”
Bryan Arenales with Amaya Espinal:
Fans will be glad to hear that the winners from Season 7 are still going strong. Furthermore, they both agree on how they want to spend their respective $100,000 prizes. They also both want their relationship to grow naturally now that they are not being watched by many cameras.
Bryan told US Weekly, “Amaya and I are only together and are taking steps to become boyfriend and girlfriend.” “We love each other very much, and we don’t want to rush things.” It’s very important that she is happy. It’s important to me that I’m happy. Fans liked us because we don’t try to make things happen just for the cameras. We’re going to keep doing that.
As her partner had said, Amaya agreed.
She said, “This is just the beginning.” “You’ll definitely be seeing me and Bry Bry.”
