John Doe, Quiet, Sweet Tooth, and the rest of the Twisted Metal pit crew from after the end of the world haven’t gone away. The hit video game version has been officially picked up for Twisted Metal Season 2 by Peacock. Anthony Mackie, a major cast member and executive director, revealed the exciting news today at The Game Awards.
“Because of our incredible fans, Twisted Metal is coming back for Season 2 on Peacock,” he said. “So everybody get your motor revving because you’re going on another ride with John Doe!”
He said in a statement, “I have to give a Sweet Tooth-sized thank you to our amazing fans—I read every comment and was so blown away by everyone’s love, support, and rabid enthusiasm for a paper bag.” Smith is the director, writer, and executive producer. In the long-awaited Twisted Metal competition, John Doe, Quiet, and Sweet Tooth will fight both old and new scary enemies. We are so grateful to be able to continue their story. The mixtape is done, and I can’t wait to go on tour again with our great band and crew.
You can watch the first season of Twisted Metal on Peacock right now. It takes place in a world where society fell apart in the early 2000s. Mackie stars as John Doe, a delivery driver with no memory who is known as a “milkman” in this world. New San Francisco’s shady leader, Raven (guest star Neve Campbell), promises him a permanent home there if he can successfully pick up a mysterious package that is halfway across the country.
On the way to New Chicago, John reluctantly teams up with Quiet (Stephanie Beatriz), a quiet car thief who is determined to get revenge for the death of her brother. There are many risks on their way to the Midwest, such as Agent Stone (Thomas Haden Church), a tough cop, and Sweet Tooth, a cruel clown played by a mix of Samoa Joe and Will Arnett.
What’s Next for Twisted Metal Season 2?
Smith keeps hinting that Season 3 will be much bigger than Twisted Metal Season2. Season 2 is said to have ended “with a bang.” Smith says as he thanks the cast and team. “Our incredibly skilled cast and crew brought the thunder and helped make something truly amazing happen.” Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this season even better than the first.
Of course, Mackie will be back as the show’s main character, John Doe, in Twisted Metal Season 2. Stephanie Beatriz is back as Quiet, Neve Campbell is back as Raven, and Joe Seanoa, also known as Samoa Joe, is back as the famous killer clown Sweet Tooth, with Will Arnett doing the voice. There will finally be the car battle contest that the original video game series is known for in this season.

Based on the end of Season 1 and the new comment from the director, fans can expect to see Dollface, John Doe’s sister, and Calypso’s vehicle tournament from the Games.
When asked what the chances were of getting more episodes, Mackie told SYFY WIRE before the show’s opening earlier this year, “I’m excited about Twisted Metal Season 2.” This was before the players’ strike. “I think that when people watch the show, the characters have grown to the point where you care about them and enjoy the banter between them all.” Samoa Joe can come back if he wants to, and I won’t lose if we fight in the Twisted Metal Season 2.
