Black Eyed Peas have canceled their stop in Las Vegas, which was set to begin on February 15 at PH Live at Planet Hollywood.
For months, rumors have been going around online that the residency was sold for less than it was worth. However, the group, which includes Will.i.am, Apl.de.ap, and Taboo, said on social media that the cancellation was because of “current circumstances.”
The group wrote on Instagram Stories, “To our dearest Peabodies: It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that our Las Vegas shows will not be proceeding as planned due to current events.” Ticket companies will automatically give full refunds. You can find out about upcoming shows by following us. We can’t wait to see you again.
It looks like all of the “Black Eyed Peas: 3008โThe Vegas Residency” shows have been canceled on Ticketmaster. The three bands were going to play 15 shows at the venue, spread out over three groups of dates from February to May.
Black Eyed Peas first talked about the engagement in September 2024, saying that it would improve their cutting-edge style. According to Will.i.am, Black Eyed Peas’ first residency in Las Vegas lets them do what they do best: come up with something new and creative that pushes the limits of what it means to be at a live show. “Disneyland rides, Las Vegas shows, concerts, AI, and technology all give us ideas.” We’re going to change the way we perform by making a show that people can participate with, a journey to the year 3008 that is both a concert and a play. The whole world can’t wait to see what we make in Las Vegas.
