“Our name is the Pogues.” Now through the summer, our goal is to always have fun.
The TV show Outer Banks Season 4 has been one of Netflix’s most popular since the beginning, with this famous line. The show definitely deserves all the praise it’s gotten, thanks to its complex plots, epic cliffhangers, amazing stunts, likeable characters, and charming look.
Part one of season four of “Outer Banks” came out on Netflix on October 10. It went straight to the top of Netflix’s list of the 10 best movies. The last five shows of the season came out on November 7.
With the gold they found in season three, the Pogues start their own business at the start of season four. Based on what John B said, they were going to live a simple, cute, and friendly life. Things move quickly when the Pogues are around, though, and JJ loses all of their savings in a bike race.
This starts a tricky and risky treasure hunt with painful past secrets and evil people who want to hurt you. The beginning of this season looked good, but it quickly lost its way and became too dark and strange to be anything like the romantic summertime show it began as.
This season had some problems, but it also had some wins. These are my best parts of the new season:
How Can I Watch the Outer Banks Season 4, Part 2 Trailer?
Above! The Season 4, Part 2 trailer has washed up on beach, straight from Poguelandia: An Outer Banks Season 4 Experience. The Pogues are really getting back to basics with the song “Us Against the World” by Jungle. It’s them against the world, trying to keep what’s theirs. John B says in the trailer, “We made a home together.” Everything is now at stake. The question is, what would we risk to protect it?” Watch the trailer now.
Outer Banks Season 4 My Brother Rafe: A Redemption… Or Not?
One of the saddest parts of Rafe’s story has to be his damaged relationship with the rest of his family. Season four shows a personality change in Rafe when he helps Sarah and the rest of the Pogues find the Blue Crown. He is truly sorry about what he did in previous seasons, even his attempt to drown Sarah, and he is trying to redeem himself.
Sarah marked the beginning of this healed relationship between Rafe and her after saving him by shooting his killers, screaming “that’s my brother.”
Where to Watch the Outer Banks Season 4, Part 1 Trailer?
Right here! After their return home from the City of Gold, the Pogues were planning on living the simple life, with treasure hunts in the past. But as John B asks in the trailer, “Come on, how long were we really gonna stay out of trouble?” Get ready for the Pogues to get back in the “G” game this season with the Outer Banks Season 4 trailer above. Are they disaster magnets? Maybe. Do we still love them? You better believe it!
The Story of Sarah’s Pregnancy In Outer Banks Season 4:
People in the Outer Banks Season 4 love Sarah and John B, and the news that they are going to have a baby surely makes people happy. It is heartwarming to see how far the two have come, from hating each other to becoming each others’ lifeline. Season four illustrates the next phase of John B and Sarah’s relationship perfectly, showing the sheer amount of love the two have for each other and the sacrifices they would both make.
Where can I find first-look images of Outer Banks Season 4?
Yup, scroll on through to see the Pogues (and some Kooks) back on Kildare in Season 4. Woogity woogity!
Outer Banks Season 4 JJ’s stunts:
From dangerous bike races, ATV chases, climbing statues in sandstorms and smashing store windows with a baseball bat, this is the season JJ Maybanks blows everything up. JJ’s character put the action in Outer Banks Season 4, and while some may think flying over a lake on a motorcycle is slightly excessive, it is so inherently JJ-core that it becomes acceptable and adds to the excitement.
In JJ’s famous words, “Let’s really light it up.”
Nonetheless, all of these wins pale in comparison to the stress-inducing plots and unforgivable, nonsensical ending that Outer Banks carelessly fed to its viewers. Here are my least favorite parts of season four:
Looks Like Everyone’s Got a Partner In Outer Banks Season 4:
People know that The Pogues are a family made up of friends. So many people watched the show because of how touching it was to see them all look out for each other. John B said in season one, “No Pogue-on-Pogue macking,” but now everyone is dating in season four. The group is cute, but it’s no longer fun because everyone is split up into pairs for each trip.
When is Outer Banks Season 4 coming out?
Part 1 of The Pogues came back on October 10 and Part 2 came out on November 7. Outer Banks Season 4, and you can watch them all on Netflix. Keep coming back to Tudum to learn more about the Pogues’ latest journey.
Countless mysteries, endless darkness In Outer Banks Season 4:
At the beginning of the season, there are at least three dead bodies and five stories that the Pogues need to solve. It’s just too hard to keep track of all the different plots and horrible people. The plot of this season is so complicated that I had to write down some notes while I watched because I kept forgetting names and hints.
This took away from the fun of watching it and caused me so much stress that it gave me a terrible headache. Outer Banks has always been my comfort show, but this season was too scary, dark, and twisty for me to feel better.
Outer Banks Season 4: Plot, Storyline & More:
Eighteen months had passed since the Pogues found gold in El Dorado in the last episode of Season 3. They were still upset about the deaths of Ward (Charles Esten) and Big John (Charles Halford), but they were also taking a moment to think about how hard they had worked to win. After all, co-creator Shannon Burke told Tudum, “they couldn’t completely lose the third season.” Josh Pate, who helped make the show, said, “We knew we had to give them a win, but it turned out to be hard.” We wanted the crowd to feel like they had made a difference and that it wasn’t all for nothing.
In Season 3, the stakes are higher than ever. The creators and executive producers of Outer Banks, Jonas Pate, Josh Pate, and Burke, told Tudum that they wanted fans to really feel how strong their relationship was. “There’s many exciting events, but it’s really about the friendship between the friends,” Burke said. But most of all, Josh Pate wanted everyone who watched at home and wanted to be in The Pogues to have “the sense that there’s more coming.”
After the 18-month flash-forward in Season 3 that showed Wes Genrette’s (David Jensen) plan for the Pogues to find Blackbeard’s wealth, Season 4 goes back in time to the events that led up to that moment. Once the Pogues find the gold at El Dorado, they go back to the OBX and promise to live a “normal” life. Their new safe place is called “Poguelandia 2.0,” and they live there together and run a pretty successful bait, tackle, and boat tour business. But after some bad luck with money, John B, Sarah, Kiara, JJ, Pope, and Cleo accept Wes’s offer and are sucked back into the “G” game for a whole new journey.
However, before they know it, they’re in way too much trouble, and dangerous new enemies are following them quickly to the wealth. At the same time, their problems are getting worse, and they have to think about who they are, whether everything has been worth it, and how much they are willing to risk.
And the Pogues are here to greet you at The Cut’s own surf shop in Kildare County. This fall, the surf shop will be on the OBX.
Here are three ads that will get you excited. They were all written and directed by Daviss. All three were filmed in one day, which Daviss says was “one of my most fun days on set.” “Because you do the thing you wrote with your friends, and they do it just the way you imagined they would.” As someone who has worked with them for a long time, I knew they would bring a lot of energy to the writing that wasn’t there before, and they did. That’s why we were able to do it so quickly!”
Are you hungry after a day of riding dirt bikes or being out on the water? In the Kildare Kitchen, you can get food made with fruits, vegetables, and plants in pots that come straight from the Pogues’ yard. If you’re really brave, you can try Cleo’s Ghost Pepper Gumbo Challenge and see how that tastes. To avoid being sued, make sure you sign the form first!
Plan to take a trip to the Outer Banks? Then how about a Pogue-worthy deep-sea adventure at JJ’s Deep Sea Charters and Scuba Tours? Take a trip out to sea on Captain JJ Maybank’s big boat, The Snapper. Maybank likes to surf and ride dirt bikes. Wideoo, drum, mackerel, and more will be caught! After that, you can get all the food and gear you need at the food & Tackle Shop. To find out more, watch the ad here!
Find out more about where to get all the things you need for the island in this surf shop ad here. It was built by Pogues for Pogues (and some Kooks!) on the old Maybank site. Want to set up a time to create a custom surfboard with Kie? Call them right now!
Who Are the Stars of Outer Banks Season 4?
What would OBX be like if the Pogues didn’t come back for another adventure? Stokes as John B., Cline as Sarah, Bailey as Kiara, Daviss as Pope, Pankow as J.J., Grant as Cleo, North as Topper, and Starkey as Rafe are all back for more episodes. Along with that, Fiona Palomo will be back as Sofia and has been made a series regular.
There’s more, though! In Outer Banks Season 4, you’ll meet all of these new (tanned) people:
• J. Anthony Crane, who was in Dead Ringers and Billions, plays Chandler Groff. Even though he is deeply sad about the death of his wife, he is happy for the Pogues on their latest journey.
• Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Double Blind) plays Dalia, a leader of a movement and a stylish bad guy on a heist who meets the Pogues.
• Hollis Robinson is played by Brianna Brown (Dynasty, Eastsiders). She is the biggest real estate agent on the island and has worked with Ward on a great business deal. She now wants to work with Rafe on a new project.
• Rigo Sanchez (Animal Kingdom, Station 19) plays Lightner, a scary stranger with a sneaky streak. This sneaky and dangerous outdoorsman seems to be testing the Pogues.
• Mia Challis (FBI: International, Clickbait) plays Ruthie, a wild child with a bad temper who becomes close with Topper.
How can I watch the Outer Banks Season 4 teaser trailer?
Here it is! He tells us that the Pogues finally found the gold, which is a standard OBX John B line. There should have been an end to that story. In reality, though, it was only the start. See a sneak peek of the Pogues’ story that will be going home this fall in the trailer above. In Season 4, everything is on the line; as John B. says, “We have everything to lose this time.”
How Was Outer Banks Season 4 Announced by the Cast?
At none other than Poguelandia, of course! In February 2023, an interactive fan event called Poguelandia took over Huntington Beach, California, making it look like the Pogues’ island paradise. Some of the kookiest Kooks, Drew Starkey and Austin North, were on stage with all the Pogues at Poguelandia to announce that Season 4 is on the way… before Season 3 even came out.
Stokes told the crowd from the edge of the stage, Outer Banks has been renewed for a fourth season!” They were the first people to hear the news. At one point, he thanked the fans for three and a half years of John B, the Pogues, and even the Kooks. It was a great moment for everyone, he said. “Thank you so much for all your hard work, cast and crew.”
When Did Filming Begin for Outer Banks Season 4?
From June 2023 on, the group was back on Kildare Island with the Twinkie. Look at pictures of them on set that were taken behind the scenes.
Is Outer Banks Season 4 done with production?
Yes. The Pogues have taken off their flip-flops and jumped in the shower because shooting for Season 4 is now over. Stokes says, “It’s been a crazy, crazy trip.” “But it’s over.” And since they’re “wrapski,” the Pogues are ready to help with the extra work. If you watch the movie above, you can see Grant make ocean sounds and Daviss edit on the computer. They’re all “so stoked” to bring Season 4 to fans, jokes aside. We are almost there! All that’s left is to count down the days until we can go back to Kildare Island, hopefully without any Pogue involvement.
