The owner of X and an unstable millionaire conspiracy theorist went on a rant against the CEO of Disney on Thursday. He blamed Iger for the Magic Kingdom’s decision to pull ads from his dangerous social media platform and said Iger should be fired for no reason.
Musk wrote about Iger on what used to be called Twitter, “He should be fired right away.” Musk often uses his power to pick fights with critics and other people. “What Bob did to Walt Disney’s company should make him turn over in his grave.”
A request for word from Disney did not get a response right away. Most people agree, though, that Iger turned Disney into an entertainment giant through a series of smart deals during his first term as CEO. These included Star Wars, Marvel Studios, and Pixar.

In the past month, Disney and many other large companies stopped advertising on X after Musk supported a racist conspiracy theory that White supremacists like. Last week, after many companies cut ties with X because of the post, Musk apologised in a roundabout way, but he also sent a rude message to companies that don’t want to buy ads on his social media platform.
Musk went on a rant against Iger at the summit, even though Iger had already said earlier in the day that the entertainment giant had decided to stop advertising on X because of Musk.
Iger said, “We just thought that the connection with… Elon Musk and X wasn’t always a good one for us.”
The choice to remove the ads was also part of a larger trend on the social media site. As of late 2022, Musk has been in charge. He has made several choices that have led to more hate speech, false information, and conspiracy theories on the platform.
X is poisonous because Musk has made it worse many times. The last thing he did was spread the dangerous and false Pizzagate conspiracy idea. Since he bought the company, he has also attacked the Anti-Defamation League, spat bad things about the press, and given extremists more airtime on the platform.
Inability to secure big advertising partners has cost X a huge amount of money, since advertising is the main source of its income. Musk himself said at the DealBook Summit that his company is probably going to go out of business because it doesn’t have enough big advertising right now.
Musk told it like it was, “This advertising boycott is going to kill the company.”
Musk, on the other hand, hasn’t really taken blame for how bad things are at X. In its place, he has tried to blame the marketers, saying that they will be to blame for X’s death if it happens.
