Jury Duty Season 2 is apparently going to come back for after successfully tormenting Ronald Gladden, who was the only participant that didn’t know what was going on.

The idea behind the season 1 was simple: hold a fake court case where everyone on the jury is an actor except for one poor person who doesn’t know what’s going on and is dragged along for the ride (along with James Marsden, of course).

Fans have been waiting for more episodes of the fly-on-the-wall drama since its premiere in 2023. However, since the mystery has been solved, viewers are wondering if the writers will be able to keep up the same idea now that everyone knows what’s going on.

If only the showrunners knew what they were planning for Jury Duty Season 2, though. Keep reading to find out everything you need to know about it.

Meet the Cast of Jury Duty Season 2:

Fans have naturally been wondering if Ronald Gladden would be back for another Jury Duty session since he went from being a normal Joe to a star overnight.

While the cast list is still a closely kept secret, we do know that Ronald signed a two-year deal with Amazon MGM Studios soon after the first episode aired.

“I’m so happy to be a part of the Amazon family that I can’t put it into words.” I met so many artistic and inspiring people while I was on jury duty, which made the experience even more exciting. He said at the time, “I’m now looking forward to using those new relationships to develop projects for Amazon MGM Studios.” His contract allegedly covered production, development, and on-screen appearances.

Is Coming Back for Jury Duty Season 2?

Yes, the show has been picked up for a Jury Duty Season 2. But, as we already said, Freevee is no longer around. This means that people who want to watch will need a Prime Video subscription, since that’s where the newest shows will be available.

Jury Duty Season 2: When Does It Come Out?

There isn’t a set date for the premiere yet, but Deadline reported that shooting for Jury Duty Season 2 is already over. This means that fans are probably closer to a premiere than they think. But stay tuned for more on the return of Jury Duty while we wait for more information.

What Can Fans Expect from Jury Duty Season 2?

Even though everyone wants to see more legal action, the show’s creators have been adamant that they can’t use the same plot again for fear of someone noticing.

“Of course, it has to be in a totally different world.” “People would be like, ‘Wait a minute,’ if you did jury duty again, but I do think it’s possible,” showrunner Cody Heller told Variety soon after the first episode of Season 1.

Since the puzzle has been solved, the cult-favorite comedy will now take place outside of the legal system. According to Deadline, the next season will take place at a company retreat, which sounds like a lot of fun.

According to sources, the story is based on great 1980s movies like Animal House and Caddyshack. It’s about a small business that goes on a retreat, where the real, unprepared person is put to the test when a Goliath shows up.
