Taraja Ramsess, a stuntman, and actor who worked on both Black Panther films, and three of his children were killed in a car accident in Atlanta. He was 41.
Fox-Atlanta confirmed that Ramsess was driving when his car collided with a tractor-trailer that had broken down in left lane on Oct. 31. The crash remains under investigation.
His mother, Akli Ramsess, confirmed the details in an Instagram post mourning her son and two daughters, Sundari and Fujibo, both 13 years old. Kisasi, 10, who had been hospitalized in critical condition for several days before succumbing to his injuries, was also confirmed to have died in a later post.
“Everyone who knew him and met him how special Taraja was,” she wrote. “The man loved his children more than anything else. He enjoyed martial arts, motorcycles, and all things related to filmmaking. He had a wicked sense of humor yet could be cornball corny.“
As they shared their thoughts and prayers, comments continued to pour in.

Ramsess gained notoriety for his parts in a number of Marvel movies, such as “Avengers: Endgame,” “Black Panther,” and “Avengers: Infinity War.” He also made appearances in Creed III and The Suicide Squad.
In addition, Mr. Ramsess starred in Creed III, Atlanta, and The Suicide Squad. He also contributed to the art department work on a number of projects, such as “The Walking Dead,”
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” and “The Vampire Diaries,” according to Variety.
Ramsess worked as a crew member for ARRAY, the distribution company founded by Ava DuVernay. “He walked like a king,” the director wrote in a heartfelt Instagram tribute to Ramsess. And always behaved like one to me.”
