The main group from season 2 will be back for Blue Exorcist season 3. Nobuhiko Okamoto will return as Rin Okumura’s voice actor, and Jun Fukuyama will return as Yukio Okumura’s voice actor.
We also know that Izumo Kamiki will play a major role in the next season of the anime. The Shimane Illuminati Saga goes into detail about her past. That means Eri Kitamura should come back. Also, Mephisto Pheles plays a big role in the comic chapters that season 3 will cover, so Hiroshi Kamiya will be back on TV as well.

We think that Blue Exorcist season 3 will be a bit longer than usual, with 25 episodes. The first season had 25 shows, and the second season had 12.
We think there will need to be more than 12 episodes to finish all the source material, though, since the next part will likely cover two storylines. The cartoon could also be split into two parts, which is what’s happening with a lot of new shows these days.
Baki Hanma season 2 came out at different times, and don’t even get us started on when Attack on Titan season 4, part 3 will come out. We hope that soon there will be news about when Blue Exorcist season 3 will be available. Keep an eye on this page for more news until then.

Okay, maybe Rin is a demon who wants to become an Exorcist, and the Vatican thinks this is the end of the world, but it might not be. The end of the world would have happened when the Impure King spread poisonous gas across the land and killed all the Exorcists. Polluting every person within miles. This did not happen, though, because Rin stepped in and put his own life at risk. He is still being tried to find out if he should be put to death because his Blue Flames are “uncontrollable.” So many trustworthy True Cross Order members are on Rin’s side, so he will definitely get away with his life. Of course, he will be closely watched to make sure he doesn’t turn traitor.
According to many fans, Angel A. Arthur probably won’t stay in power for much longer. He seems so evil that he might even join the dark side. Also, Angel would have to give up his title for Rin to become the next Pallidin, which only happens after death (except for Yukio’s strange case). Between the young demon slayer and the Palladin, there will definitely be a great battle. Angel seems to really want to get Rin kicked out of the True Cross Order. Mephisto Pheles, on the other hand, seems to want his half-brother to do well, even though Trickster fans know that you should not trust everything he says.
The wall between Assiah and Gehenna has already been broken down, so fans of this Shonen Anime can expect some journey between these worlds in future episodes. Rin is the most likely and clear choice, but Yukio could also join him since viewers have already seen a glimpse of how powerful the second Son of Satan is. Many fans are sure that Yukio will stay on the right path, even though he is going through his own personal fight and has already been shown to be open to bad influences. In the future of Blue Exorcist, he may even become Rin’s worst enemy.
Is Blue Exorcist Season 3 Officially Happening?
Blue Exorcist Season 3 has not been released yet. Some people may see this as a bad sign because of the long wait, but before you give up hope, look at the anime’s timeline. The first episode of this mysterious anime came out in 2011, and Season 2: Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga didn’t come out until 2017.
Fans might be able to see more of Rin’s experiences killing demons in 2023 if this information is used to guess the next season. Some fans think this might be pushed back even further, though, since manga artist Kazue Kato recently stopped working on Blue Exorcist for eight months and won’t start publishing it again until May 2022. The artist did some work on Fuyumi Ono’s book Eizen Karukaya Kaiitan while taking a break from RIn’s story.
Blue Exorcist Season 3: What Is the Plot About?
As was already said, Blue Exorcist season 3 will cover volumes 10 through 15 of the manga. Fans can look forward to two storylines being turned into anime: the Shimane Illuminati storyline and the Academy Seven Wonders storyline.
So, there will be two main themes in the next season. The first is about Izumo’s sad past and background. The bad Illuminati group will be at the center of the second plot line. For people who are new to Blue Exorcist, the Illuminati group’s main goal is to combine Assiah and Gehenna and bring Satan back to life to the fullest.
The group also likes doing horrible tests on people, and things get complicated when it comes out that the bad group has a spy at True Cross Academy. There is war, but this underground group is also working with Izumo’s family.
It turns out that Izumo is from the well-known Kamiki family. And her mother has the power of the Nine-tails monster fox. Fans can expect to see Michael Gedoin, an Illuminati researcher, do tests on Izumo’s mother while he tries to give the Nine-tails to Izumo instead.
We don’t want to give away too much, but let’s just say that the whole thing is very sad and gives you a good look into each character. But let’s be honest: things can change in terms of the story. In past seasons of Blue Exorcist, like season 2, there was fluff and changes were made to the original story.
