Apple launched VisionOS 1.1 on Thursday. The most important change is that user personas are now better. In particular, the new update makes the hair and makeup look better, as well as the neck and mouth, as well as the eyes for EyeSight, which lets other people see your eyes when you wear the mask.
Users can now set up their personas without touching the device. To do this, go to Settings > Persona and choose “Hands-free Capture” mode after the initial setup steps.
Mobile Device Management (MDM), a way for businesses to control their devices, is also added to the new version of VisionOS. This lets administrators set up devices for unique configuration, install a lot of apps at once, and erase the device from afar.
Last month, the company said that it would support corporate device management.
“We understand that for businesses to get the most out of the Apple Vision Pro, they will need to manage a lot of them.” “The good news is that we have a lot of great technology to bring over to Vision Pro in that area,” Jeremy Butcher, Apple’s global product marketing manager for businesses, told TechCrunch at the time.
VisionOS 1.1 has a lot of other small changes that make it better for users:
- Users can now delete system apps from the Home View.
- Mac now finds and connects to Macs more easily.
- Virtual Display: The virtual keyboard has been improved so that you can type words more accurately.
- Updated the settings for closed captions while watching Apple Immersive video

Over time, more apps have been made for VisonOS. There are now more than 1,000 native apps for the platform in the App Store.
