After 12 episodes, Singles Inferno Season 4 is now over on Netflix. In it, four pairs were matched and left the island called “Inferno” together. Three guys and four women out of the 13-person cast were left alone and without love for now. Which two people got together at the end of Season 4? Are they still together? How does Kim and the rest of his Singles Inferno team make it possible for people to fall in love so quickly? The worldwide hit Singles Inferno is what we want to talk about…
Singles Inferno Season 4 Recap: Everything From Casting to the Double Date:
The basic idea behind Singles Inferno hasn’t changed from season to season, but the makers have made some changes to the show. This season, the contestants stayed on the island for ten days instead of nine, which was the original length. The “gamechangers,” who are contestants who are added in the middle of the season to shake things up, were another change. The producers chose Park Hae-lin, a 24-year-old college student actor, as the female game-changer. The female contestants, on the other hand, could choose from three possible male group members. They chose An Jong-hoon, a 32-year-old restaurant owner.
Kim says that casting is one of the most important parts of Singles Inferno. The process has become easier in some ways since Season 1, when there were not as many people wanting to join. This is because the show has become so popular. To find people who are really interested in dating, though, is now the hard part. “Dating shows are supposed to help you find love, but because they get you so much attention, some people use them to find things other than love,” says Kim. Someone who wants to be famous might make for good TV on some reality shows. Kim says that the makers of Singles Inferno do everything they can to keep the show’s main theme, which is the search for a real romantic connection.
Kim says there is some room for change, even though the producers and crew of Singles Inferno have a firm plan going into shooting. The main storyline of this season is about which of the many male suitors for 25-year-old model and former star survivor show contestant Lee Si-an will choose. The drama reached its peak in Episode 9 when the two couples at Paradise went on a surprise double date. Si-an came to Paradise with Yuk Jun-seo, an artist and singer who is 28 years old. She had started to date Yuk and was interested in him. At the same time, Kim Jeong-su, 33, the owner of a cafe, came to Paradise with dancer Chung You-jin, 28. He only did this because his first pick, Si-an, was already taken. It was the first time that the show had a double date. Usually, the Paradise date is just between two applicants.
Kim says that the double date wasn’t something that they decided on the spot because of the Si-an love triangle. He says, “The double date was planned, but we didn’t know which two couples would go or when to send them to Paradise.” “That means not everything is set in stone.” The big picture plan is set, but we can change things in the middle. Kim says that giving Si-an, Jun-seo, Jeong-su, and You-jin the double date was chosen “because there were so many complicated things between the four of them.” Also, this was the second night in a row that Si-an and Jun-seo would be going to Paradise together. The producers wanted to change things up by adding a new task and atmosphere.
The spread of the games is another example of the flexible plan. The games often decide who gets to pick the date for Paradise. “We have everything ready, but we can change things at the last minute. For example, will we have a girls’ game or a guys’ game today?”
Of course, the production team can only do so much. And sometimes the choices made during production have effects that were not meant. For example, in Season 4, there were not as many love relationships that were made and kept alive on Inferno. Kim says, “It wasn’t planned at all.” “It happened right now.” That’s why I think it’s because we had the two game-changers, sent everyone to paradise, and only the guys stayed in hell with Hae-lin. At the start of the season, the cast was split into two Inferno camps for men and women on different islands. This made it harder for the contestants to spend time together. Kim says, “I think they just didn’t have much time to be together and hang out on Inferno.” “So that was something we really felt bad about after filming everything.”
Which Singles Inferno Season 4 Couples Are Still Together?
For the sake of keeping things exciting on Singles Inferno Season 4, the hopefuls can’t talk about their dates on social media. Kim said that it had been eight months since the last episode of Season 4 was filmed and when it came out. Filming for the season began in June 2024, and the last episode came out on Netflix in February 2025. It took about three months to edit the show. During that time, the production filmed the emcee parts, in which hosts Lee Da-hee, Dex, Hong Jin-kyung, Hanhae, and Kyuhyun watched the episodes and talked about them.
It’s still too early to tell how many of the couples who left the Inferno together are still together because they haven’t been able to use social media for eight months. At this point, there are no proven couples from past seasons who are together. What’s the deal? Some Korean internet users say they saw Si-an and Jun-seo out together in Seoul. As of this writing, there has been no public report either way.
Si-an was asked by Marie Claire in a recent interview that was done before the ending came out if she was still in touch with her final pick. “Well, I’m in touch with all of the contestants,” she said to avoid answering the question. Our group of friends and I often get together to eat out or drink. We’re also working together on ads. Every time we have a promo, we all get together and talk about what happened while we were shooting. That’s right, we’ve been seeing each other a lot. In this short film, some of the cast talk about how the season went.
Si-an’s Final Choice Revealed in Singles Inferno Season 4:
After an exciting selection process, four couples were matched and left Inferno together. Kim says, “The atmosphere on set during the finale is exactly the same as what you feel when you watch the show.” It’s against the rules for them to talk about their final decisions, so none of them is sure that this guy or that girl will choose me.
Bae Ji-yeon, a 25-year-old space artist, picked DJ Kim Tae-hwan, even though she had doubts that his feelings for her might not be completely real. He picked her again, and they both left Inferno at the same time.
An Jong-hoon and model Kim Hye-jin, both 25, picked each other and left Inferno together. One of the women who chose for Jong-hoon as the male game-changer was Hye-jin.
They picked each other. Their names are Kim A-rin, 25 years old, and Koon Dong-ho, 30 years old. Dong-ho was one of the most-liked guys on this season of Singles Inferno, and Hae-lin chose him as her final choice too. But in the second-to-last episode, Dong-ho made it clear to Hae-lin that he was more interested in A-rin and probably wouldn’t change his mind. They went on one last date to Paradise together. During their Paradise date, A-rin and Dong-ho found out that they both live and work in the same part of Seoul.
Even though You-jin liked Dong-ho, she chose Jeong-su as her top choice. During their date in Paradise, they became friends. Kim talks about Season 4 and You-jin to show how she feels: “We didn’t have as many love lines as we would have wanted.” “She’s a very pretty contestant, and she’s always honest about how she feels.” We didn’t give her enough time to look into her choices, which I think is a shame because I think she would be great on a dating show.
In Season 4, Yuk Jun-seo, Kim Jeong-su, and Jang Theo, a 29-year-old actor, were among the male contestants who fell in love with Lee Si-an’s looks and charm. Si-an was the last choice for all three guys. Si-an chose Jun-seo as her partner to leave the island, even though she chose Jeong-su as her last date in Paradise. As she said in her welcome video at the start of the season, Si-an wanted to fall in love. She later said that her feelings for Jun-seo were like a whirlwind. He joked that he would pick her up and throw her over his shoulder as they left the island.
While editing Season 4, Kim says, “I was quite confused seeing Si-an’s final Paradise date and seeing her final choice.” When asked if any of the final choices surprised him, Kim says, “I knew the final choices.” “If you watch the last episode, you’ll see that [Si-an] was very serious about her choice. She thought about everything and made the best decision for herself.”
Kim Min-seol, a popular 23-year-old independent news anchor, also picked Jun-seo, but she was left on the island by herself. There were also Jung You-jin, Park Hae-lin, Kim Jeong-su, and Jang Theo who were left alone on the island.
Singles Inferno Season 5: A Glimpse Into the Future:
One of Netflix’s most popular shows that isn’t in English is Singles Inferno. The show has already been picked up for a fifth season and is now looking for new cast members. Kim, the show’s producer, wrote on Instagram in December 2024, “I’m grateful to have made it to the fourth season.” I really appreciate all the fans who keep coming back for each new season. We’re going for season 10 now that we’re in season 4, and we want to be the longest-running date show in Korea.
