Gabimaru’s only goals in Hell’s Paradise’s first season were to get back to his wife and find a new way to live after growing up as a master killer in the cruel town of Iwagakure, where shinobi assassins live. At the end of the season, Gabimaru and Sagiri’s group were fighting with Mu Dan around the door to Horai, which is said to be where the Elixir of Life is kept. Hell’s Paradise’s first season came to an end after showing that the Tensen are gods of the island and Gabimaru’s husband may have been making things up. Fans were left wanting more.
