1) The Eras Tour, Which Broke Records
With her 3.5-hour Eras Tour, Taylor Swift broke records from March to November. The huge set list of 45 or more songs came from all of her 10 albums. Time magazine asked Swift how she started getting ready for the tour six months early. She said she ran on a treadmill while singing her songs. In 2023, she played 66 shows in 20 places in North America and 3 cities in South America. Pollstar said the show made more than $1 billion, and the Guinness Book of World Records recognized her for breaking a record. Gannett hired a writer to cover her full-time (hi, it’s me) because she had such a big effect.

Swift sang at a show in Argentina, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me,” while her boyfriend, star tight end Travis Kelce, danced next to her dad, Scott Swift.
