They pull me back in just when I thought I was free! At least The Sun says that shooting for a Peaky Blinders Season 7 will begin this summer. After the Netflix movie “The Immortal Man” comes out, the BBC wants to air new parts of the crime drama set in Birmingham in 2026.
Many people thought that “The Immortal Man,” which was set to stream either later this year or early next (no official date has been given yet), would be the last episode of “Peaky Blinders” and Tommy Shelby’s story. The story takes place during WWII and stars Cillian Murphy, Stephen Graham, Rebecca Ferguson, and Barry Keoghan, among others.
For Peaky Blinders season 7, though, that things will pick up a bit faster. In the 1950s, the new show will take place, and it will pit Birmingham’s renowned gang against East London’s Kray twins and Birmingham’s Teddy Boys. It’s likely that shooting for the new show will begin in September. In the UK, it will air on BBC One.
“The movie was supposed to be the last goodbye to the story, and the Peaky Blinders season 6was supposed to be the last.” But Steven Knight, who runs the show, couldn’t help but come back to the story, which is his most famous work, and he’s been hinting that he wanted to do more. As for fans of the show, they will be very happy that it has been officially approved by the BBC and pre-production has begun. The show was a big hit for the BBC.
There is obviously no official word yet, but The S*n says Cillian Murphy may come back as a “father figure” to younger gang members. That being said, we still don’t know who will live through “The Immortal Man.” Also, we don’t know if this new show is connected to the two planned spin-offs, one of which will be set in Boston, USA, and the other will follow Polly Gray when she was younger. We know that the “Peaky Blinders” will be back, though, no matter what happens.
Who Joins Cillian Murphy in the Cast of ‘The Immortal Man’?
Before we can fully think surprising about Peaky Blinders season 7, there’s the big-budget Netflix movie to watch first. Murphy’s probably last movie as the antihero with the flat cap will also have a mix of new and returned stars from a series known for having great actors. It’s possible that Rebecca Ferguson from Silo is the most famous of them all. Barry Keoghan from Saltburn, Tim Roth, Jay Lycurgo, Ned Dennehy, Sophie Rundle, and others are also in the cast. Stephen Graham is set to play Hayden Stagg again. He is fresh off of the worldwide hit Adolescence and completes a group that is already full of talented people.
