One Punch Man season 3 is coming out in just a few months, and Viz Media has now officially bought the show, as a new press release says. Fans can now be sure that the new season will start to pick up speed soon.
One Punch Man season 3 was first mentioned in 2022, and later confirmed to be in production by J.C. Staff, the studio that made season 2. This caused some fans to have mixed feelings. Over the past year, fans have seen a trailer and some character pictures, but there hasn’t been much else to say about the next season, which will continue the Monster Association story arc. Since there is now an official English publisher, maybe there will be more talk about the progress of season 3, especially since it’s almost time for it to come out in October 2025.
Will One Punch Man Season 3 Soar or Sink?
Fans are very split on what will happen with the show now that J.C. Staff is back to create season 3. Many people who didn’t like the animation in season 2 hoped that a new company would take over, but that didn’t happen. Many fans aren’t sure if J.C. Staff will live up to their promise to be better after the problems in season 2, but they have admitted to them.
Still, One Punch Man season 3 might be the best one so far; it includes some of the best chapters from the manga, and the general story arc of the Monster Association is very interesting. One Punch Man season 3 could be one of the best of all time if J.C. Staff can do justice to the animation and Viz can do a great job with the dub. For that reason, this October launch in Japan is very important, and fans can’t wait to see what the future holds for One Punch Man.
One Punch Man Season 3 Officially Picked Up by Viz:
Viz Media announced that they had bought the rights to One Punch Man season 3 in a message on X (aka Twitter). For Western fans, this means that Viz will be in charge of marketing and promoting the new show, as well as putting out both subtitled and dubbed versions of the season. The message ends with the phrase “more info to come,” which should give us some clear direction as the Japanese premiere of the season gets closer. Of course, most fans want both versions to come out at the same time, or at least with only a small wait for the English version.
There is no news yet about the dub, but it seems possible that Viz would do everything they could to get all the voice actors who have worked on the show before to come back. But because season 2 of One Punch Man came out so long ago, it might be hard to get the whole group back together. People are really looking forward to hearing about the dub selection, since One Punch Man has a pretty good dub in general. Of course, the new season will have a lot of new characters, most of whom will be monsters. It will also be interesting to see who is cast in those parts.
One Punch Man Season 1 Delivered Perfection:
The first season of One Punch Man changed anime forever. There were so many great performances that it made the others look bad. Fans were sure that a second season would be announced soon after the first one was a hit. One big thing did change, though. The second season was made by the well-known company J.C. Staff.
Fans were sure that the company would be able to live up to the high standards set by Madhouse’s first season. The quality of the graphics dropped a lot, which was a shame. Fans were obviously furious that the company only made a mediocre movie version. They couldn’t believe the studio had messed up the adaptation, which made the anime lose all the steam it had built up in the first season. A lot of people didn’t like Season 2 of One Punch Man, which is one of the main reasons why Season 3 had to be pushed back.
One Punch Man Season 3 Set to Premiere in October 2025:
As was already said, One Punch Man season 3 will come out in October 2025. It will continue the Monster Association story arc, which means there will be a lot of fights. He will have to deal with his toughest test when he fights Cosmic Garou, who gets his power from “God.” The book had great fight scenes, but the anime might have even better ones. In the season 3, other characters, like Tatsumaki, will also have their moments. Saitama, as the main character, will get the most attention.
The fight between the monsters and the heroes will be important to the story as a whole. Whatever the heroes do, they must win or the world will be taken over by monsters, and all people will be killed. It’s even more important for the stars to do their job. The heroes are lucky to have Saitama on their side, because he is almost impossible to beat. So it won’t be hard for him to handle anything the monsters throw at him. Overall, the arc looks good, and I hope the studio can do it right.
The Fate of One Punch Man Hangs on Season 3:
The studio is under more heat now that it has been announced that the One Punch Man manga will be taking a break. Fans are already unhappy with ONE’s choice to redo old storylines for no reason. Readers are very angry with the author’s choice because they think he should have spent his time on something else. After drawing lines that don’t add much value again, the author could have taken a break.
Fans are worried that J.C. Staff hasn’t shared a good trailer for the season 3 yet, especially after the terrible second season. Even though the studio has been posting new pictures of the characters, which look good, fans would be much more calmed down by a new trailer.
One Punch Man Season 3 will come out in October 2025, as J.C. Staff already said, and the studio needs to share a new trailer before the show. If Season 3 doesn’t do well, the show will be put on hold for at least 5–6 years. Not only that, but J.C. Staff’s reputation will suffer if the season 3 doesn’t live up to promises.
One-Punch Man Season 3: Full Cast Revealed:
Because of the new trailer, most of the cast for The One Punch Man season 3 has been revealed. They are Saitama (Makoto Furakawa), Genos (Kaito Ishikawa), Garou (Hikaru Midorikawa), King (Hiroki Yasumoto), and Gyoro Gyoro from the Monster Association (Takehito Koyasu).
Terrible Tornado (Aoi Yuki), Silverfang (Kazuhiro Yamaji), Atomic Samurai (Kenjiro Tsuda), Child Emperor (Minami Takayama), and Zombieman (Takahiro Sakurai) are some of the other figures. The animators at the J.C. Staff company are also back to work.

Where Is One-Punch Man Season 3 Available to Watch?
We think you’ll be able to watch One Punch Man season 3, just like the first two seasons. As of this writing, though, nothing has been proven.
As with the other seasons, US fans can probably expect to be able to watch the show on Hulu as well. Again, though, this is still just a guess on our part. While we wait for more information, we’ll let you know.
We do know that Viz Media, the biggest manga and animecompany, has bought the rights to show One Punch Man season 3 in North America, Latin America, and Oceania (via Variety). “Additional details regarding streaming availability in VIZ Media territories will be announced in the coming weeks,” they told us on May 27.
