At some point in our lives, we’ve all heard a comment or two that made us wonder if that person was stuck in the stone age. And even when it’s not to that extreme, there are certain phrases that may not have been intentionally said to be offensive that are still awkward. If you’re a guy reading this, consider this a warning! Here are 10 things you should never say to a woman:
1. “Everything looks good on you”
Excuse her? She’s looking for a comment that is more specific. Tell her what really looks good on her. She wants you to seem interested.
2. “Let me do it, you’re not strong enough”
There’s no need of underestimating a woman’s strength. She can do things that you can’t, and she’ll leave you in the state of shock.
3. “Is this what you’re going to wear?”
Well, no. She is just trying it on for a friend. No, duh. Obviously, that is what she’s going to wear!
4. “I hate your friends”
You don’t have to love her friends. But, you can be nice to them. There are chances that she can dump you for them.
5. “My ex…”
Uh uh. Don’t even think about it. The moment you say these two words, will be the end of your relationship. Not kidding.
6. “It’s a guy thing, you won’t understand”
You don’t want her to make her think that you’re calling her stupid. Not at all.
7. “Do you really need all those shoes?!”
See, a woman can never have enough shoes. Take a note, please.
8. “You should ask my mom how to cook”
You don’t want her asking your mom how she has raised you, now, do you?
9. “You look a little healthier. Have you put on weight?”
How would you like her commenting on your bulging tummy?
10. “That’s not ladylike”
Stereotyping much? There shouldn’t be any restrictions as to what a woman is allowed to do.
