It might seem odd that a show from the parent company of CBS would be available on NBC’s streaming service, but Peacock bought the streaming rights to Yellowstone before CBS and Viacom merged and Paramount+ was made. Peacock has kept Yellowstone close, which is not a surprise given how well it has done.
On Paramount+, you can watch Yellowstone’s many prequels, such as 1923 and 1883, as well as shows that aren’t linked to Yellowstone but are spiritually similar, like Landman. You can get Paramount+ for as little as $7.99 a month.
Should you choose not to watch at all, Yellowstone Season 5, Part 2 will be available to buy on Blu-ray. The physical release date is May 27. We haven’t heard anything about an official box set for the whole series yet.
Is there another season of Yellowstone on the way?
People have called the Yellowstone Season 5ending a series finale, and it looks like this is the last time fans will see Costner’s family patriarch since he left the show. But there is talk that the Yellowstone story will go on.
The end of the season was called the series ending, and Costner has left the show. However, fans may not see the Duttons anywhere else.
Sources say that Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, who play Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, are in talks to continue their characters’ stories in a sixth season of the show.
“If Taylor wants to, he can figure out how to keep going.” That’s just Taylor being a great writer, though. But Hauser told The Hollywood Reporter before the Yellowstone season 5 finale, “He’s smart enough as a writer to do that if that’s something that he’s passionate about.” This doesn’t mean that the show will continue.
“He has to do it. He is someone we trust, Reilly said. “He is a master storyteller, and we help him tell the stories of these characters. It’s been such a thrill to play and so exciting.” I believe in him. I trust him with her no matter where he takes her. I trust him whether we’re going to find her somewhere else or leave her where we found her. Right now I really don’t know which way to go. The writing, though, is what really makes or breaks the deal for me. It has to be from him.
No one from Sheridan or the show’s home network, Paramount Network, has said for sure if there will be a sixth season. There might be a sixth season, which gets fans excited. If there is, you’ll know where to stream it when the time comes.
It is possible to watch the first four and a half seasons of Yellowstone on Peacock. When Yellowstone Season 5: Part 2 comes out on Peacock on March 16, you’ll be able to stream the whole show.
