There will be an exciting, animal-themed ending to Beastars season 3, part 2 on Netflix. But when will it finally come? What should we expect?
Here is the most up-to-date information on when Beastars season 3 will come out, what new information there is, and where we think the story of Legoshi and Haru will go next.
Check out the new anime that is still coming out in 2025, as well as the latest news on season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer Infinity Castle.
When Is Beastars Season 3 Coming Out?
For us, “early” 2025 means any time from now until April. That’s when Beastars season 3, part 2 will air. In December, the first part came out.
As the last story starts, Legoshi finds himself in a world full of danger. The final season of Beasts will come out in two parts. Part 1 will be available ONLY on Netflix THIS DECEMBER!
Beastars Season 3: Full Voice Cast Revealed:
But we know that Legoshi (Chikahiro Kobayashi/Jonah Scott), Haru (Sayaka Senbongi/Lara Jill Miller), and Louis (Yuki Ono/Griffin Puatu) will be back for season 3. The rest of the cast hasn’t been announced yet.
You can now meet Gosha the Komodo dragon (Shigeru Chiba), Yahya his old horse partner (Shin-ichiro Miki), Sagwan the seal (Tessho Genda), Seven the sheep (Fumiko Orikasa), and Melon the “mysterious beast” (Koji Okino).
Studio Orange is back to making animations, and Shinichi Matsumi is back as the show’s director.
Beastars Season 3: Which Manga Chapters Will It Cover?
“A world of impending danger awaits Legoshi as the final chapter begins,” Netflix said in its first statement about the final season.
So, Beastars season 3 will pick up where the second season left off, with Riz revealed as Tem’s killer and Legoshi’s carnivorous urges somewhat under control, as shown by the fact that he only bit off Louis’ leg (trust us, it makes sense).
Now that Riz is in jail, Legoshi tells Haru that he wants to leave Cherryton and see more of the world. He also wants to keep training with Gouhin to become a carnivore. But it’s not clear if Legoshi and Haru’s relationship will last through the changes, especially since Haru said, half-jokingly, that she’ll need to find a new boyfriend.
A lot of chapters 100–196 of Paru Itagaki’s manga will also be used in the new season. The Interspecies Relations arc and the Revenge of the Love Failure arc are the two main ones that make up that.
Not to give away too much, but the Interspecies Relations arc (chapters 100–123) is the next part of Legoshi’s story. Revenge of the Love Failure (chapters 124–196) introduces a new bad guy named Melon and ends the story in Cherryton between Legoshi and Haru, though a lot of Legoshi’s backstory hasn’t been used in the anime yet. That will likely show up in one of the last two parts in some way.
Beastars Season 3 Trailer Drops: A Glimpse at the Grand Finale:
In the early preview for Beastars season 3, Legoshi said, “I want this world to be a safe place for Haru.” The wolf’s quick jump scare of Louis’ foot makes it look like he needs to satisfy his own hunger before he can do anything about the love of his life.
So, the video gives you a quick idea of what to expect from the last season, which could bring an end to Legoshi and Haru’s relationship and give the students at Cherryton Academy more adventures. You can even catch a quick glimpse of Gosha, Legoshi’s grandpa.
The new video, which you can see above, keeps a lot of the same plot points but focuses on Melon, the new bad guy in the series.
Will Beastars Season 3 Be the Last One?
Yes, Netflix announced in March that Beastars season 3 would be the last one. It’s part of a surprisingly long line of popular shows that are ending their runs.
The last part of Tanjiro’s story will be shown in the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie trio soon, and the last season of My Hero Academia will air in 2025. This year also saw the end of the comic series Jujutsu Kaisen. In 2023, the anime series Attack on Titan came to an end.
