While the year is still young, Apple may already be “Sherlocking” a new iOS app they want to call Invites. There aren’t many details about how this app might look yet, but it could be similar to Evite or Partiful.
Based on what 9to5Mac found in the iOS 18.3 beta 2 code, Apple may be working on a new way to share event tickets for both real-life and virtual events. The story said that this app would work with iCloud and that there might also be a web version of it on iCloud.com.
Apple already lets you invite people to events like talks through the Calendar app. The new calls app, on the other hand, might not work the same way as calendar calls. It could be a way to share a link to a page with information about an event and a list of people who are invited. Think of birthday parties, weddings, school reunions, company-wide events, and so on.
The story says Apple will likely use GroupKit, a fairly new internal framework, to handle groups of people, like invitees. It also said that Apple might make a small app for iMessage that lets you get to the Invites app.

People won’t be able to try out this new app soon because the company hasn’t said anything public or dropped any hints.
