A funny two-part gathering marked the end of Summer House season 9. Even though there was some drama, the group mostly laughed and talked about their summer together. Besides the Lexi Wood and Jesse Solomon story, it wasn’t too exciting.
As a longtime viewer, I couldn’t help but notice how badly the group has become matched. It was sweet to see everyone get along. Cast members like Lexi, Jesse, and West Wilson are still dating and going out, while Lindsay Hubbard is a new mom and Carl Radke is sober. Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke are married. It’s not working right.
At first, Summer House was a show about twenty- and thirty-somethings having fun in the Hamptons. The group was mostly single and didn’t worry too much about the future, which makes for great reality TV. But since the first season, a lot has changed. There aren’t as many drunk nights and make-outs with the Season 9 group as there were five years ago because they have a lot more to lose. The show has changed, and it’s not clear what will happen next. What’s next for Summer House? It seems like the group needs to be changed for the show to go on.
Who Is Most Likely to Exit Summer House Season 9?
Paige’s news made me think about how the Summer House group is doing right now. The house has people from 26 to 42 years old, which is a bigger age range than ever before. The hole in the house is hard to miss. As Lexi thinks about girl code and the rules of privacy, Kyle is getting his sperm checked out so that he and Amanda can start a family. Yes, it’s clear that they are in different stages of life.
Vanderpump Rules has put Summer House in a tough spot. Do they keep the original cast members or change the show into something more mature? On the other hand, the network could fire the cast members with more experience and keep the newcomers, who have still pulled a few all-nighters. It might be time to make this tough choice. What else could you do? Imrul Hassan’s sex escapes wake up Lindsay’s daughter Gemma in the middle of the night? I don’t think so, yeah.
Why Is the Summer House Season 9 Cast Expected to Change?
Paige DeSorbo told her fans some big news on her Instagram story on June 4, 2013. The star of Giggly Squad wrote, “I have a little life update for you: I’ve made the decision not to return to Summer House.” This meant she would not be back on the show next season.
She went on, “Being on this show has been one of the best parts of my life—the friendships, the drama, and the laughs.” All of them will be remembered forever. At the end of the post, she thanked fans for always being there for her.
It’s not a big surprise that Paige quit. In the past few years, her work has gone through the roof. She has a best-selling book in the New York Times, a very popular show, and is putting out a line of pajamas. We can be sure she doesn’t need Summer House.
It’s clear that Paige’s leaving will blow up the show. Her fans watch the show just to see her because she is the voice of reason and the funny part. Someone will have to fill Paige’s role if Summer House comes back next season.
Lexi is another cast member who won’t be coming back. In an Instagram story on Friday, June 6, the newbie said she was leaving the show.
She wrote, “Well, that wasn’t the summer I signed up for, but it taught me a lot.” “Even though it was hard, I fought for women and what was right. I would do that again in a heartbeat.” I have no regrets about leaving Summer House (well, maybe one.)
The Women of Summer House Season 9 Prove Friendship Matters in Finale:
At every stage of your life, you need a strong group of pals by your side. These kinds of friendships are very helpful and useful. Making friends on Summer House gives you mental support, a sense of belonging, and chances to grow. The Bravolebs give each other a place to talk about their lives, give each other advice, and celebrate each other’s wins. The women in the show bring this point home more than anything else. As the years have gone by, the women have really come together to help each other.
She said it best: “I’ll be damned if I’m an 80-year-old woman sitting on the couch and going after another woman.” Ciara, Paige DeSorbo, Amanda Batula, and Lindsay Hubbard will not put up with that kind of behavior any longer. What a nice thing to see. During the whole season, Ciara made it clear that she would not stand for Paige being treated badly because she ended her relationship. When Paige told her friends she was happier than she had been in a long time in the ending, she was able to be honest about how she felt.
Summer House Season 9 Finale: Paige DeSorbo’s Bold Breast Milk Moment:
Nothing pulls friends together like taking shots of cold breast milk that has just been pumped. Even though I didn’t take part, the practice did more for them than just make them healthier. For Paige, Amanda, and Lindsay, it was about being ready for motherhood and being there for their friends. “I was like, ‘Put a little in a shot glass for your girl!'” Paige said on her Amazon Live. I want to do it. She had never done it either. “Are you kidding me?” We’re going to try it! We gave it a try and loved it.
The Summer House ladies made me think of the connections I have with other people. A lot of people who watch have had the same group of friends for 20 years or more. Other people get closer while some move away. The Summer House girls taught me that there is always hope for peace as long as there is respect. Each girl may break from the group sometimes. I like how strong and real the bonds are in Summer House. In the season finale, seeing Ciara, Paige, Lindsay, and Amanda made me think of ways I can be a better friend to the ones I already have. I really couldn’t believe I had an epiphany after watching an episode of Summer House season 9. Thanks, girls!
