Showtime’s Dexter Original Sin is a prequel to their hit show from the 2000s. The bloody origin story has been picked up for a second season. The news came out about a month after the end of season 1, but not much is known about the upcoming season 2 yet. This also starts a bit more of the strange relationship between Harry and Dexter, where Harry supports Dexter’s acts.
At the same time, Deb decided not to go to college and instead become a police officer. This was a very important event in the history of the Morgan family. In season 2, she will definitely have her own problems, and those problems might arise at the same time as Dexter’s promotion in the Miami Metro police force. He also got a raise in season 1, which is another step toward him becoming the Bay Harbor Butcher from the original show. Coming around a month after the season 1 finale, the latest news confirms that Dexter Original Sin has been renewed for a Dexter Original Sin season 2. The Showtime on Paramount+ exclusive program was a smash during its first outing, and with the Dexter franchise rapidly expanding, it seemed clear that more episodes were coming soon. Little is known about the upcoming sophomore outing, but it will once again stream exclusively on Paramount+ with Showtime.
