Heartland is Canada’s longest-running one-hour TV soap. In the U.S., its 18th season started in April on UP Faith & Family. That’s where people in the United States can watch all of Heartland’s episodes so far, but the show will be on break after Heartland Season 18 Episode 5 airs on Thursday, May 15. Heartland Season 18 will start on UP Faith & Family on Thursday, June 19, with new shows every week, according to TV Insider. One of many update videos coming after the one-month break will show Amy’s (Amber Marshall) love story this season. Watch the video above to get an inside look at it.
The 10-episode 18th season still has five episodes to go. They will continue to show Amy’s journey after losing her husband Ty Borden (Graham Wardle), who died in the Season 14 opening after making his debut in Season 3. With help from her family, Amy is now raising their daughter on her own. She is ready to fall in love again. She might be finding it with Nathan (Spencer Lord), a cowboy who lives nearby.
Marshall plays Amy and Michelle Morgan plays Lou, two sisters who live on the horse ranch in Alberta that gives the show its name and deal with the ups and downs of life there. Things were worse than ever for start Heartland Season 18. A neighboring ranch gave them new competition, and a drought put the herd’s health at risk. The Bartlett-Fleming family had to work hard and change in ways they had never done before.
Amy stays focused on her work with horses, but she has to make a tough choice because her heart is suddenly pulled in two different ways.
This year, Lou is more active than ever in the family cattle business. This makes her fight with Jack (Shaun Johnston) and Tim (Chris Potter) a lot. But when it counts, the whole family will stick together and show that no problem is too big for them to handle. You will need to be brave, determined, and mentally strong to get through the problems that lie ahead. To put it another way, it will require real grit.
