But I really hope that the TV show goes in a different way than what the books say will happen next with Brianna. It’s hard to say when the romance series will end because author Diana Gabaldon hasn’t finished the books yet. Outlander season 8 is coming up soon. But there is one more book coming, and it won’t come out until after Outlander season 8 ends for good. Even so, Starz can still use some source material in the next shows. But this might not be the best choice for Brianna.
The main run of Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander books has nine books out now, and the TV show has mostly covered eight of them. The Outlander Season8will be based on book nine, “Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.” The problem is that this book won’t be a final conclusion to the story. There need to be big changes, and Outlander season 7 has already begun this process by showing that Faith Fraser lived in a way that isn’t in the script. Even though I don’t like it when things change from the books, I really hope that Brianna doesn’t get pregnant in season 8.
Outlander Books Reveal Brianna and Roger’s Third Baby:
At the end of Outlander season 7, Brianna and Roger are getting ready to go back to Fraser’s Ridge in the 18th century to see Jamie and Claire again. In the books, too, this is exactly what the pair does, and they end up starting a family again in North Carolina. This goes even further in Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, which says that Brianna is pregnant. She finally gives birth to a boy named David William Ian Fraser MacKenzie.
The birth of Davy is definitely an exciting event for the MacKenzies and Frasers, and little Davy makes a big difference in the story in the ninth Outlander book. Jemmy and Mandy quickly figure out that Davy isn’t genetically able to go back in time. Brianna and Roger can’t go back in time to avoid danger like they used to be able to, no matter what happens. Since Davy is only interested in children from the 18th century, the MacKenzies have to face the American Revolution straight on. Even though Davy’s birth is important to the story of Outlander, I hope it doesn’t happen in season 8.
When Will Outlander Season 8 Be Released?
Not yet. Starz did say that Outlander Season 8: Blood Of My Blood would start in the summer of 2025, but they didn’t say when the main show’s final season would air. It’s likely that it won’t happen until after the first season of the spinoff.
But Starz has a lot more to give. Good news for fans of dark comedies: Ella Purnell’s Sweetpea was picked up for a second season, and author Randy Huggins’ BMF will soon start its fourth season. As always, 50 Cent’s TV world will keep making hits. Right now, the fourth season of Power Book III: Raising Kanan is being watched nonstop.
A Outlander Season 8 Pregnancy Would Overshadow Brianna’s Story:
In Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone, Brianna got pregnant and gave birth. But there is still one more Outlander book coming out that will round out her story. This won’t be true for season 8, though. In the next few episodes, if it turns out that Brianna is pregnant, her last storyline on the show will be about giving birth to Davy. As lovely as this story is for the MacKenzies in the Outlander books, I’d much rather see Brianna’s story in the last episode of the show, as it would better complete her arc.
Brianna loves her kids very much and would do anything for them, but her story isn’t just about being a mum. This is one of the things I like about this Outlander figure. In both the books and the TV show, she seems to be a kind of lost child. Based on Starz’s story of events, she was named as the 200-year-old baby who would reveal the next Scottish king. It has also been suggested that Brianna’s skills as an engineer and architect will have a big effect on the past Outlander Season 8 needs to wrap up Brianna’s story in some way, and spending time on Davy’s story won’t help with that.
Brianna’s Next Journey Awaits in Outlander Season 8 (As Her Tale Lives On in the Books):
Of course, I don’t want Davy’s story to be taken out of Outlander completely. It would be better if Outlander season 8 focused on a different part of Brianna’s story. The people in charge of Outlander have said they want to leave room for Gabaldon’s final book, which means that the events of season 8 will likely flow into her next work. In the next few episodes, Brianna might go on a separate journey. Once that is over, the happy news that Brianna is pregnant with her second child might be shown in the finale of Outlander Season 8.
It’s hard to say exactly what that adventure will be in Outlander season 8. Season 7 ended with hints that Faith Fraser’s secret will be a big part of the show’s ending. Brianna may be connected to that as well. Brianna might be able to use the stones to go back in time to the year Faith was born in France if she doesn’t already have a baby. She could then tell her mother what really happened to the baby. This might even have something to do with the 200-year-old baby forecast. There are lots of options, but only if Outlander doesn’t tell Brianna’s story right away.
