The very famous anime Demon Slayer is finally coming to an end after four seasons and a movie. But instead of a Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 5, the show is ending in a way that no one expected.
The next part of Demon Slayer will be a series of movies based on the manga’s Infinity Castle Arc. We now know when the first movie will come out.
In the summer of 2024, the fourth season of the show started. It followed the Hashira Training Arc from the manga, which could be seen as the calm before the storm. It comes before the great ending of Infinity Castle, where the heroes face Muzan Kibutsuji, their evil demonic enemy.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 5 release date:
From September 12, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 5 will be shown in theatres in the UK.
That is two months after the Japanese release date of July 18, 2018.
Demon Slayer would end after three movies. This was first said in January 2025.

Even though there have been no big cast announcements, it seems likely that the whole cast will be back for the upcoming Demon Slayer movies in different roles. Those things are:

- Bryce Papenbrook (English) and Inosuke Hashibira as Yoshitsugu Matsuoka

What is the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 5 plot?
“Tanjiro Kamado—a boy who joined an organisation called the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 5 Corps to hunt down demons after his younger sister Nezuko was turned into a demon,” says a summary of the movie on Crunchyroll.
“Tanjiro has fought many demons with his friends Zenitsu Agatsuma and Inosuke Hashibira, while his friendships and bonds with other corps members have grown stronger.”
“On his journey, he has fought with the Hashira, who are the highest-ranking swordsmen in the Demon Slayer Corps. These include Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku on the Mugen Train, Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui in the Entertainment District, Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito, and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji at the Swordsmith Village.”

What will happen in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 5 movies?
The news about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 5 revealed that the show will jump right into the Infinity Castle Arc of the manga in three new movies.
The Infinity Castle story is the second-to-last part of the Demon Slayer saga. It makes up the first half (about 47 manga episodes) of the epic “Final Battle Arc.” The last 22 episodes of the manga are the Sunrise Countdown Arc, which comes after the Infinity Castle Arc and wraps up the story.
Fans have been looking forward to the adaptation of the Infinity Castle Arc, which looks like it will have a lot more action than the Hashira Training scenes in season four.
To protect anime fans who have only seen the show, we won’t give away any major plot points. But please be aware that the next part of Tanjiro’s trip is filled with some very dramatic battles and losses.
We can see why Ufotable wouldn’t try to fit the whole Final Battle into one season of the show. It’s the manga’s biggest story arc by a long shot.
