In an effort to grow its user base, Reddit is focussing on foreign countries like the Philippines, Brazil, India, and the United Kingdom.
Reddit COO Jen Wong told CNBC that over half of the site’s users are located outside the United States.
Wong singled out India, a country whose English-speaking people are actively discussing Bollywood and cricket.

In October, CEO Steve Huffman announced plans to increase the company’s translation efforts in order to reach more than 30 nations by 2025 with its machine-learning-based translation capability.

As to Reddit’s third-quarter figures, the United States continues to contribute 83% of its overall revenue. The corporation intends to extend its local advertising to other nations, according to what Wong told CNBC.
