Al-Hilal offered him £400m per year. Ever since Lionel came back from the World Cup campaign, he showed his dedication to staying at Paris Saint-German, but over the past few months, things weren’t going in his favor.
Along with Al-Hilal, Messi’s former club Barcelona also showcased their high interest in bringing him back to the club.
They have been linked with Messi, and even the head coach Xavi Hernandez also contacted the star player multiple times and expressed his will to bring him back.
